Stainless steel goulash pot, 20-litre capacity
This very elegant goulash pot has a wall thickness of 1 mm, is beautifully crafted and has been polished to a high gloss for a perfect finish. If the wall thickness is less than 1 mm, a stainless steel goulash pot will burn through very quickly. The handle is riveted in place with large rivets.
The pot is very easy to clean. After its first use, the pot will take on a slightly bluish-yellowish tinge. This is entirely normal when using stainless steel over an open fire. When purchasing a stainless steel goulash pot, you should definitely look out for these quality features.
Goulash pots are a traditional Hungarian product for cooking over a campfire, used to prepare pot goulash, goulash soup and stews. The distinctive smoky flavour is only achieved if the goulash or goulash soup is cooked without a lid. A lid should only be used to cover the finished dishes (to keep out insects).
To avoid unnecessary returns, please note the sizing guidelines for our goulash pots: for safety reasons, the pot must not be filled to the brim. Multiply the pot’s volume in litres by 1.3. For example, a 20-litre pot is suitable for a maximum of 26 people. Due to the shape of the pot, this means it will be approximately 70% full.
